Information You Give Us

When you submit a rental request through our cart, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your company name, if you provide one
• A delivery address and site details, if you request delivery
• A photo of your ID, if you upload one — stored privately and only viewable by our staff, never made public
• Whether you've agreed to receive text messages from us about your rental or about promotions — each is a separate, explicit choice, and we don't send either without it

We use this to fulfill your request: to call and confirm availability, pricing, and delivery details, and to arrange payment. Right now, no payment is collected on this website — a member of our team takes payment by phone or in person after confirming your order.

Information Collected Automatically

We use a first-party analytics system we built ourselves — not a third-party ad network — to understand how people use the site: which pages get viewed, which links and buttons get clicked, and which equipment gets viewed or added to a cart. This works by storing a random, anonymous id in your browser's local storage (not tied to your name or any account) and recording the pages and equipment that id interacts with. We use this only to understand overall interest and traffic — for example, how many people visit each day — not to identify individual visitors, unless that same browser later submits a rental request, at which point we naturally already have the contact details from that request.

If enabled, we may also use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and/or the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, which have their own privacy practices — see Google's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy for details on those.

Cookies & Local Storage

Our cart contents and the anonymous analytics id mentioned above are stored in your browser's local storage, not a tracking cookie in the traditional sense — clearing your browser's site data removes them. Our staff login uses a standard authentication cookie, relevant only to our own team logging into the admin area, not to site visitors.

How We Share Information

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work: our database and file storage provider (Supabase), and — once online payment is turned on — a payment processor to process transactions. Any of these providers only receive what they need to do that job.

Your Choices

You can decline to give us your ID photo, delivery details, or text message consent — these are optional except where noted on the form. To ask what information we have about you, or to have it deleted, contact us at [email protected] or (678) 972-2194.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging equipment rentals and isn't directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

If how we collect or use information changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and change the effective date above.
